A PATCH of land in a Helensburgh and Lomond village described as a “gateway to the Highlands” has been placed on the market.
The 4.3-acre site in Arrochar, which includes part of the car park at the head of Loch Long, has gone up for sale at offers over £150,000.
Independent property consultants Galbraith are marketing the land, which is promoted as being “in a beautiful situation at the head of Loch Long and within walking distance of the footpath ascending The Cobbler, one of Scotland’s most popular mountain walks”.
The car park on the site is operated by Argyll and Bute Council, although the Advertiser understands the land is not owned by the local authority.
