ARGYLL and Bute had one more death from suspected Covid-19 in the week to November 22, according to the latest official figures.
The latest fatality takes the total number of deaths linked to the virus to 75 in Argyll and Bute since the start of the pandemic.
There were no deaths in the week to November 15, but four in the seven days up to November 8, according to statistics released on Wednesday by the National Records of Scotland.
The highest weekly Covid death total in the area was 14, recorded at the end of April.

In the week to Saturday, November 21 – the latest day for which daily figures are available – there were 26 positive Covid tests recorded across Argyll and Bute, a rate of 30.3 cases per 100,000 of population.
The neighbourhoods of Helensburgh Centre and Helensburgh East both had recorded case rates of more than 100 per 100,000 of population, while Helensburgh West and Rhu had a rate of between 75 and 100.
The positive case rates in Cowal North – which includes Arrochar – and Lomond Shore were between 30 and 49, but in Garelochhead – including the Rosneath peninsula – and Helensburgh North, the rate was between 15 and 29.
However, actual case numbers were between one and four in all those areas.
