A CYCLIST from Dumbarton has been named as the man who died in a crash near Cardross on Tuesday.
Colin McCourt, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, on the A814 about half a mile west of the village.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and information following the crash, which happened at around 4.40pm on November 10.
Officers are now appealing for information from the public as part of their investigations into what happened.
Police say a number of vehicles stopped to provide assistance and are asking any witnesses to contact them if they have not yet spoken to police.

A spokesperson said: "In particular, officers are appealing for anyone with dashcams to check their footage as it may have captured footage which could assist our enquiries."
The road was closed for several hours as crash scene investigators conducted enquiries.
Anyone with information is asked to call road policing officers via 101, quoting incident number 2367 of November 10, 2020.
A 44-year-old Helensburgh man was arrested in connection with alleged road traffic offences following the crash. He appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
