POLICE in Helensburgh are trying to trace a woman who allegedly shouted racist abuse in a town shop.
Officers have issued an appeal for information from members of the public who may have been within the Costcutter shop in West Princes Street at around 11.30am on Monday, August 24.
A woman was allegedly overheard shouting racially motivated remarks inside the store.

The suspect is described as having long dark hair in a pony tail, wearing black coloured clothing and with a very pale face, possibly with heavy white make-up.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Haining or PC Gallagher at Helensburgh police office.
