A HELENSBURGH artist who is taking part in an Argyll-wide 'open studios' event over the next two weekends will donate all of the proceeds from sales of her work to a children's charity.
Lesley Carruthers is participating in the Artmap Argyll event, which begins this Friday, August 21, and runs until Monday, August 24 – and again on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30.
Lesley will donate 100 per cent of all sales during the course of the event to the Children's Hospice Association Scotland, which runs Robin House in Balloch.

Lesley's studio at 5 Upper Colquhoun Street will be open to visitors between 10am and 5pm on all six days of this year's event.
This year's Artmap Argyll programme features 30 artists and venues located all over mainland Argyll, though Lesley's studio is the only one in the Helensburgh and Lomond area.
Covid-19 protocols will be strictly observed at Lesley's studio and all venues in the programme.
