Police in Helensburgh are appealing for information after racist graffiti was chalked on to a sea wall in Garelochhead.
The offensive message is thought to have been written on to the wall at Old School Road between 8pm on Friday, June 12 and 2pm the following day.
The graffiti was later cleaned off, but not before a picture of the message had been posted on social media.
Anyone with information can call 101 and ask for Helensburgh police office.
