A HELENSBURGH man has had his car seized by police after being stopped whilst allegedly driving without insurance.
Officers on patrol in Old Luss Road, at the east end of the town, on the morning of Thursday, April 23 reportedly saw a man driving a black Vauxhall Astra with significant damage to one of its headlights.
The vehicle was pulled over due to concerns over the sharp edges at the front of the car, according to police, who say that subsequent checks confirmed the 31-year-old driver did not have a valid policy of motor insurance.
The man has been reported to the procurator fiscal for the alleged offence and the vehicle has been seized.
