A MAN from Rhu has been charged with vandalism and disorder offences after allegedly using a child's scooter to smash a window at a house in the village.
Police attended a property in Manse Brae at around 10pm on Sunday, April 5 following reports of a disturbance.
Shortly after arriving at the scene, it's understood officers identified the male alleged to have been responsible for causing the damage.
Police also say the man was verbally abusive towards the officers as he allegedly resisted their attempts to arrest him.

He was eventually secured and placed within a police vehicle before being taken to Clydebank police office.
The 42-year-old was released to attend at court on a later date charged with two alleged disorder offences, vandalism and resisting arrest.
Bail conditions were also put in place preventing the man from returning to the location of the alleged offences.
