A MAN from Rosneath was arrested last week after allegedly breaking into a hotel in Rhu.
Staff at the premises - which has been named locally as the Rosslea Hall Hotel - contacted police on Friday morning, April 3 reporting the alleged break-in overnight.
Officers attended and viewed CCTV footage from within the building which reportedly identified a male inside the property in the early hours of the morning.
Police say they found a broken glass panel and blood inside the hotel, while one small item was confirmed as missing.

Following an enquiry the man captured on security cameras was traced to an address in Rosneath, where he was arrested for alleged theft by housebreaking.
The 32-year-old was taken to Clydebank police office where he was charged and released; he will be reported to the procurator fiscal.
In a weekly newsletter from Rhu and Shandon Community Council, which stated that the Rosslea Hall Hotel was the target of the alleged break-in, secretary Jean Cook urged residents to "exercise extreme caution at this time" and make sure doors and sheds are locked.
