ILLEGAL drugs worth around £1,500 were reportedly discovered by police in Cardross last week.
Officers stopped a red Vauxhall Corsa in the village’s Main Road just after 10pm on Friday, March 27.
According to police, cocaine with an approximate value of £500, as well as a quantity of cannabis worth around £1,000, were recovered.
The 30-year-old female driver, from Alexandria, and 26-year-old male passenger, from Logie Place in Helensburgh, will be reported to the procurator fiscal charged with being in possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to others.
