A CHARITY providing fun songs, rhymes and stories for pre-school children in the Helensburgh and Lomond area has launched a new online service to help during the pandemic lockdown.
Fun First's regular sessions in Helensburgh, Cardross and Garelochhead have been suspended for the duration of the crisis, but the charity's adult leaders are now providing entertainment and education via the Fun First Facebook page – with help from their own children.
Leaders are uploading videos to the page several times each day – and if you get requests in by Thursday lunchtime, the most frequently requested songs or rhymes will be uploaded to the page each Friday.

Fun First chair Sarah Davies said: "This provides a welcome break from the long day for parents and children and ensures that the charity continues to provide enrichment for the youngest in our community.
"Fun First is alive and well and doing its very best to continue, however difficult it might be to do so."
