A HELENSBURGH fish and chip shop is introducing new opening times to help vulnerable members of the community in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.
The Wee Kelpie, on West Clyde Street, will be open from 4-5pm as of Wednesday, March 18 for the sole use of those with a compromised immune system and the over 70s.
The move follows UK Government advice for elderly and vulnerable citizens to avoid unnecessary social contact as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread.

A statement on The Wee Kelpie's Facebook page from owners Nicola and Kerr Raeburn said: "To anyone in either of these groups we totally understand your concerns and will take telephone orders on 01436 675000 from you and give you a time to collect to minimise your time in the shop.
"Please pass this on to anyone who you feel could benefit from this.
"Your understanding and cooperation in offering this service is much appreciated."
