A FEMALE driver with “excessive alcohol levels” in a breath sample was arrested in Helensburgh this week.
Police were called by a witness at around 12.30am on Monday, February 24 claiming that a woman who appeared intoxicated had been seen entering a Toyota vehicle and driving off in West Princes Street.
The car was later traced outside an address in Fisher Place and the driver, a 27-year-old, was found within the property.

The woman allegedly failed a roadside breath test and was arrested and taken to Clydebank police office where an analysis of further breath samples produced “excessive” alcohol level readings.
The woman was kept in custody and appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court later that day.
