A TEENAGER has been charged with a number of driving offences after allegedly crashing a car he had taken from a house party in Helensburgh.
A 17 plate Volkswagen Polo was reportedly found to have been crashed into a wall on West Argyle Street on Sunday, February 16, with the engine still running.
The vehicle is understood to have been parked outside an address in Campbell Street the previous evening by an 18-year-old female from Glasgow, who was attending a house party nearby with friends.

It was spotted at around 2.30am on Sunday.
After taking details from the victim and witnesses, police charged and reported an 18-year-old male for allegedly taking and driving away a vehicle without the owner’s consent, driving without a valid full licence and driving with no insurance.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
