POLICE are appealing for information to help trace a teenager suspected of stealing a mountain bike from a 12-year-old boy in Helensburgh.
The young victim was allegedly approached by a male in Williamson Drive, in the Kirkmichael area of the town, at around 5.30pm on Thursday, February 13.
According to police, the suspect engaged with the victim before pushing him off the bike and stealing it.
He is then alleged to have made off down Old Luss Road towards the shops at the junction of East King Street.

Officers attended the location and a crime report for alleged robbery has been raised while CID carry out a review of nearby CCTV cameras.
The suspect is described as wearing a blue top and dark bottoms and is approximately 13-15 years old.
The bike is described as a bright green mountain bike with front suspension.
Anyone with any information should call Police Scotland on 101 and ask for Helensburgh police office.
