THE community group spearheading the refurbishment of Helensburgh's Hermitage Park has issued a plea for people to stop breaking glass bottles in the park after a dog was cut on a piece of glass.
The incident, which is understood to have happened on Monday, was reported by the Friends of Hermitage Park on their Facebook page later that evening.
The Friends said in a post on the 'Helensburgh Hermitage Park' page: "We have asked people drinking in the park numerous times to please stop breaking glass bottles, and explained why.
