Helensburgh First Aid provides ‘enhanced skills’ first aid workshops at community events in Helensburgh and the West Dunbartonshire area, as well as at Dumbarton FC’s home matches.
They also deliver First Aid at Work courses to help train workers on how to handle workplace injuries.
With a number of their volunteers progressing to healthcare careers, and an expected increase in demand for their services in 2020, the local charity group is looking to recruit a number of new first aiders.

Continuous training will take place thereafter, with a three-hour session every other Tuesday. A nationally recognised qualification will be awarded upon completion of training.
