A MAN has been charged with allegedly stealing a dog from outside a Helensburgh shop.
Police say they were contacted at 3.45pm on Saturday, January 25 after an Irish wolfhound was reported stolen.
An 18-year-old girl is said to have tied the pet up outside a store in Colquhoun Square as she entered for a few minutes, and after hearing the animal bark, she left the shop and reportedly saw a man holding the dog’s lead and the dog to be missing.
