A HOMESICK hamster found inside a cupboard in Helensburgh could be on the lookout for new owners.
The Scottish SPCA posted a social media appeal on Friday, January 17 to try and trace the humans responsible for the cute pet after it was collected in the Fisher Place area of the town last Tuesday.
The little creature has been taken into the care of the organisation’s rescue and re-homing centre in Dumbarton while the search for its rightful owners continues.

So far the owner has not been located and the hunt will end this Saturday, January 25 following the standard seven-day wait.
If you recognise the hamster before then, call the centre on 03000 999 999.
If an owner fails to come forward by the end date then the re-homing process will begin.
