HELENSBURGH is being invited to show its support for people with dementia at an event in the town this week.
The local branch of Alzheimer Scotland is holding a fund-raising ‘Purple Party’at the Helensburgh Dementia Resource Centre in West Princes Street on Thursday, January 23 from 2-4pm.
There will be teas, coffees, cakes and buns available, and the suggested donation for entry is £2.

A raffle will be held during the event, while you can also take part in a quiz to help raise funds for the charity's work.
To take part in the quiz, pick up a quiz sheet at the centre (suggested donation also £2). Instructions will be given with the sheet.
