A 56-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in Helensburgh for allegedly driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
Police received a report at 7.15am on Saturday, January 4 of a male driver apparently under the influence in East Clyde Street.
Officers attended and stopped a man from East Princes Street after he was observed to be allegedly heavily impaired whilst driving a Toyota vehicle.

The man was arrested and taken to Clydebank police office where a sample of urine was taken for drugs analysis since he had no obvious alcohol impairment.
The driver was later released pending the results of the lab tests.
