Helensburgh Music Society’s 40th anniversary concert season resumes after the Christmas break on Saturday, January 18 when tenor James Gilchrist and pianist Anna Tilbrook take to the stage at the Tower Digital Arts Centre.
The talented duo will present a programme featuring music by Vaughan Williams, Dove and Schumann’s much loved song cycle, Diechterliebe.
James and Anna’s recordings of English song, and the song cycles of Schubert and Schumann, have attracted international acclaim; James has sung in most of the major concert halls around the world, and Anna’s career has seen her collaborating with artists such as José Carreras, Angela Gheorghui and Bryn Terfel.
