THREE cars have been involved in a crash on the A818 north of Helensburgh.
The accident, on Thursday morning, is understood to have happened near the junction with the unclassified Glen Fruin road.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We were called to reports of a three car crash on the A818 at around 10am on Thursday, December 12.
"Police, ambulance and fire service personnel are on the scene."
Traffic heading towards Helensburgh from the Loch Lomond area was being turned around at the Crosskeys roundabout, while motorists leaving Helensburgh were advised to use the A814 via Cardross.
Argyll and Bute Council announced shortly before 2pm on Thursday that the A818 had reopened following the crash.
