A HELENSBURGH teenager has appeared in court charged with alleged possession of a knife following an incident in the town last week.
The 16-year-old male from the Kirkmichael area was searched by police and allegedly found with the weapon after officers attended Williamson Drive at around 2.30am on Thursday, November 21.
Reports had been received about a male causing a disturbance at the location.
The teenager was taken to Clydebank police office and held in custody to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court, where he was remanded in custody.
