LOMOND School in Helensburgh is running a free family event next week focusing on ways to help children – and adults – improve their spelling.
The session, delivered with the help of ‘Sir Linkalot’, the alter ego of Andy Salmon, who puts a twist on traditional spelling games, is aimed at children aged between five and 12, but is open to the whole community.

Andy has taught in hundreds of schools across the UK, working with pupils of all ages, to “slay the dragon of misspelling, and the ogres of hard-to-remember facts”.
The event takes place at Lomond School from 6-7pm on Monday, November 25.
