HELENSBURGH police arrested a man allegedly in possession of a knife at a town centre pub.
Officers were flagged down by members of staff at the premises on West Clyde Street on Saturday, October 5, who informed them that a male customer within the pub had allegedly been spotted with the weapon.
Police attended and detained the man, who was identified as a 28-year-old from France, and a search reportedly resulted in the recovery of a lock-back knife.
The man was arrested and will be reported to the procurator fiscal for the alleged offence.
