Police charged three teenagers with drug possession after carrying out searches in Helensburgh
THREE Helensburgh teenagers have been charged with possession of controlled drugs following searches by police.
Police on patrol in Hermitage Park on September 11 are said to have retrieved a tub containing herbal cannabis which was discarded by a 15-year-old boy as the officers approached.
The teen, from James Street, will be the subject of a report to the children’s reporter.
On Sunday, September 15, officers in Maitland Court detained two 17-year-olds for a drugs search, which resulted in the pair being charged and referred to the children’s reporter.
