FIRE crews had to free an 83-year-old man and his 81-year-old female passenger from their overturned car last week following an accident near Rosneath.
The man is said to have caught a verge on the B833 near to Mambeg on Friday afternoon, September 13, causing the vehicle to be dragged into a ditch and coming to rest on its side.
The incident, which happened around 3pm, closed part of the road as emergency crews including police and an air ambulance attended the scene.
