TWO children’s charities have been boosted by donations from a Helensburgh organisation.
Members of the Burgh branch of the Royal Antediluvian Order of the Buffaloes (RAOB), Neptune Lodge, handed over cheques to the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and Ronald McDonald House, both of which care for sick children and support their families.

Each charity received £200 from ‘the Buffs’ and this added to a collection raised by Dumbarton couple Charles and Claire McConnachie, whose baby daughter Cara needed heart surgery a few days after birth and was looked after by staff at the children’s hospital.
