A 15-YEAR-OLD girl has been charged with suspected shoplifting in Helensburgh and Cardross.
The teenager is alleged to have stolen alcohol from the Tesco Express store on East Clyde Street in Helensburgh and from the Co-operative Food shop on Main Road in Cardross.

Both incidents are alleged to have occurred on Tuesday, August 27.
Police attended both shops after the girl was stopped by Co-op staff and following a review of CCTV cameras she is alleged to have taken cider and wine from the stores.

Officers charged the Dumbarton youngster with two counts of alleged theft by shoplifting and she will be the subject of a referral to the children’s reporter.
