PARKLANDS School in Helensburgh has been boosted by a donation of more than £300 following a fund-raising raffle in the town.
Members of the ladies' section of Helensburgh Golf Club organised the event at The Ben Bouie Open recently, raising a fantastic total of £360 for the Parklands parent council.
The school caters for children with a range of complex educational needs and the money will be used towards funding in-house fully inclusive dance sessions for all pupils to participate in.
Senior pupil Mia Ward and her mum Julie met Zena Park and Doreen Sneddon at the golf club to receive the kind donation.
The school was also recently awarded a £500 grant from the Helensburgh and Lomond Health and Wellbeing Network, which will help fund the dance sessions as well, starting in the new term.
