AN 83-YEAR-OLD woman was taken to hospital after a road accident in the centre of Helensburgh.
Police attended a report of a crash between two cars at the junction of West King Street and James Street at around 12.30pm on Sunday, August 18.
On arrival they saw a Vauxhall lying on its side at the mouth of James Street and a Honda off the road close by.

The woman, who had been driving the Honda, was conveyed to hospital as a precautionary measure.
The driver of the Vauxhall, a 27-year-old man from Bishopton, was charged with careless driving and with having two tyres which were below the legal tread limit.
