A MAN from Helensburgh has been charged with allegedly being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs, after police reportedly recovered a quantity of heroin from him.
Officers on a plain clothes patrol say they spotted the 24-year-old man entering a vehicle in the Kidston Park car park on Saturday, August 3.
Police say the man was known to them and both he and the 33-year-old female driver of the car were detained for a search.

A further search took place at Clydebank police station and a quantity of heroin was allegedly found on the man which exceeded what would be deemed for personal use.
The man was charged with the alleged offence and held in custody to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court.
