POLICE in Helensburgh are urging the public to be on the lookout for potential pick-pockets after several reports of thefts in the town centre.
Officers received three separate reports on Wednesday, July 31 alleging bag-dip style thefts of purses and some residents have claimed that two women may be working together to target shoppers.

Area inspector Roddy MacNeill said: "I would ask that people are, as always, mindful of where they are carrying purses and wallets and ensure that bags are closed and kept in view."
