A 66-YEAR-OLD man has died after a crash on the A82 near Loch Lomond on Sunday afternoon.
The man was riding a motorcycle which was in collision with a car near Inverbeg.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At 2.30pm on Sunday, July 28, police received a report of a road accident on the A82 near Inverbeg involving a motorbike and a car.
"Emergency services attended and a 66-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The male driver of the car was uninjured.
"A 66-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with alleged road traffic offences. He is due to appear in court at a later date."
The name of the man who died in the crash has not yet been made public.
The road was closed for several hours to allow an initial investigation to be carried out into the crash.

The A814 between Arrochar and Garelochhead was reported to have been at a standstill for some time during the closure as drivers sought alternative routes to complete their journeys.
