MEMBERS of Cove and Kilcreggan Bowling Club showed off their recently-renovated clubhouse at a ‘summer solstice’ event with a touch of Spanish flair.
The event was attended by over 100 people who enjoyed two giant paellas and tapas by La Barca f Helensburgh.
Event organiser Frazer Smith said: “All the club came together to help out and make the event a fantastic success.

“The food was amazing and the paella went down a treat. We saw lots of new faces as some people didn’t even know the club was here before and they had a brilliant day.”
The club in Craigrownie Park have also started a children’s bowls class on a Tuesday at 5.45pm and are offering £1 membership for adults and children for their first year.
Frazer added: “The parents can come up and watch their kids play, enjoy the stunning view and a drink.
