HELENSBURGH'S lifeboat and a Ministry of Defence launch went to the aid of a man who fell into the water from a yacht in the Gareloch on Sunday afternoon.
The man was reported overboard near the Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Club's moorings in the loch.
The lifeboat was launched at 3.53pm in response to a request from the UK Coastguard, but on reaching the scene it was discovered that an MoD launch had recovered the man and was taking him to Rhu Marina.
