A YELLOW weather warning for heavy showers and thunderstorms has been issued for much of the west coast of Scotland this weekend - bringing a risk of flooding to Helensburgh and surrounding areas.
The Met Office has put the warning in place for thunderstorms from 7pm on Friday until 10am on Saturday, while heavy rain is expected until early morning on Tuesday, July 23.

Difficult travelling conditions are predicted with disruption to rail services likely, and localised flooding is possible.
