The Reverend Tina Kemp, associate minister at Helensburgh Parish Church, took up the role last month.
A members' motion laid down at Holyrood by the area's MSP, Jackie Baillie, states that Ms Kemp's appointment "is deserved recognition for the hard work that she has done with Helensburgh Parish Church".
