Helensburgh Toyota managing director Gary Mulvaney presented the prizes at the town’s Christian Aid netball tournament this week.
The competition featured pupils from several of the area’s primary schools, with the winner’s trophy eventually going to the team from Lomond School.
READ MORE: United effort raises more than £1,200 for Christian Aid in HelensburghThe tournament is part of a series of events held to raise funds for the charity in Helensburgh each spring, and adds to the money brought in via a sponsored swim, a grand fair at Helensburgh Parish Church and door-to-door collections around the town.
Another feature of the annual Christian Aid events programme in the town is a football tournament for the area’s primary schools organised by Ardencaple FC – don’t miss next week’s issue of the Advertiser for full coverage of the competition.
