A PROMISING young make-up artist from Helensburgh has put her skills to the test on the runway at a showcase fashion event in Glasgow.
Stephanie Hosie’s work went on show at the end of year celebration of West College Scotland HNC students.
Friends, family and industry professionals were wowed at the gathering, held at the 29 venue in Royal Exchange Square, as students organised a catwalk of models each with a different make-up look influenced by either a make-up brand, fashion label or celebrity icon.
Stephanie, 20, enjoyed learning about the different eras of make-up and said after the show on Monday, May 13: “I found the showcase event very enjoyable, I thought it was great seeing all my classmates’ ideas walking down the runway.
“My inspiration was MAC. I chose to do the art library collection for my live event as it was so colourful!”
Other influencers referenced on the night included Rihanna and Vivienne Westwood.
