A 25-YEAR-OLD man from Birmingham was arrested after an incident outside a Helensburgh pub.
Police officers observed a man allegedly being verbally abusive towards another member of the public on West Clyde Street in the early hours of Sunday, May 26.
READ MORE: Helensburgh teen charged over 'assaults on girls' at railway stationThe man is alleged to have refused to desist when instructed to do so by police and was subsequently arrested for a disorder offence.
He allegedly resisted arrest by pulling away from officers, but was eventually handcuffed and taken to Clydebank police office.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
