A MAN from Cardross has been charged with the alleged possession of cannabis and a knife.
Police were called out to a report of a man "lying down" near to Cardross railway station just after 7pm on Wednesday, May 15.
Officers attended and found a 29-year-old male from the village allegedly under the influence of an illicit substance.
The man was detained and searched, resulting in the alleged discovery of the drug and weapon.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
