HELENSBURGH'S lifeboat crew responded to a call of a person in distress in Dunoon yesterday.
The RNLI team received a call on Thursday, May 16 to report the incident off Dunoon pier.
READ MORE: Helensburgh RNLI rescue stranded power boat after double engine failureThe lifeboat was launched at 5.30pm and HM Coastguard also attended, rescuing the person as the lifeboat arrived a short time later.
The lifeboat returned to its station at Rhu Marina just after 6.15pm.
