COMPOSER Will Todd has described the Helensburgh Oratorio Choir as “the best amateur choir in Scotland”, and you can judge for yourself in Helensburgh this weekend as the group perform at the town’s parish church.
The stage is set for Sunday’s show, where Mozart’s Requiem, and Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms will be performed in front of what will no doubt be another sell-out crowd.

He has been replaced by Susie Wapshott and Sunday’s show will be her first in charge of the choir. Classical music fans can see the full ensemble in action from 7pm.
