A SUSPECTED drink driver from Rosneath was arrested and charged for allegedly refusing to provide a breath sample to police.
Officers on patrol on the B833 road through Garelochhead stopped a silver Vauxhall Corsa just after 10.30pm on Friday, April 26 after observing it being driven erratically.
After speaking with the driver, a 34-year-old male from Camsail Road, Rosneath, a strong smell of alcohol was detected and the driver was required to provide a sample of breath for analysis.
The man allegedly refused and was arrested before being taken to Clydebank police office.
Once within the station the man again refused to provide samples of breath and was charged for failing to do so.
He was held in custody to appear at Dumbarton sheriff court at a later date.
