A WOMAN from Helensburgh was arrested last week for allegedly obstructing police officers who were questioning her son.
Police attended an address in Buchanan Road on Monday, April 8 to deal with a matter involving the youth residing in the house.
However, officers were allegedly stopped from speaking to the boy as his mother stood in the way, instructing the youth to run out the back of the home and evade officers.

Police arrested the 36-year-old woman for obstruction and she was taken to Clydebank police station for interview. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
