ARGYLL and Bute Council will hold an information evening next month focused on the upcoming change of management of the Duchess Wood.
The council is to end its agreement with the local nature reserve in Helensburgh in August 2020, after two decades of overseeing its management.

Local authority officials say they want to encourage an alternative method of managing the site in the future which doesn’t involve further financial commitment from the council amid continuing budget restraints.
Interested parties are invited to come along to the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre between 2pm and 6pm on Thursday, April 25 to find out how they might get involved in the Duchess Wood’s future.
