VARIETY may be the spice of life – but a popular Indian restaurant in Helensburgh is proving that consistency is key, after being nominated for another national award.
Annaya’s, based on West Princes Street, is in the running for the Best Loved Restaurant in the 2019 Scottish Curry Awards.
The final ceremony for the 12th edition of the annual event will be held in the Marriot Hotel in Glasgow on Monday, April 15 and the Burgh business is hoping to come out on top in their category.

Up against six other restaurants in the south west region, Annaya’s faces stiff competition for the crown but the eatery’s previous track record bodes well, having tasted success on more than one occasion recently.
It was named Best Curry House in the west of Scotland at the annual SPICE Awards in December last year while it was also the overall winner of the Five Star Indian Restaurant of the Year gong at the inaugural Scottish Asian Food Awards in November.
