HELENSBURGH’s lifeboat crew rescued a stranded pilot after he crashed his microlight aircraft into the Holy Loch last week.
The RNLI boat was launched on Wednesday, February 27 after the incident was reported at 11.26am.

The uninjured pilot was taken safely to Sandpoint Marina and the microlight was towed to shore.
The lifeboat crew were ready for service again around 1pm.
